What awaits you
This winter season, from 27 November 2026 to 7 February 2027, the Thüringer Glitzerwelt turns Lake Hohenfelden into a glowing sea of lights under the brand-new theme “Journey through the Galaxy”.
After the success of past years, our park of lights takes you this time into the endless expanse of space. Across more than 23,000 square metres, millions of LEDs sparkle and create a magical atmosphere right on the winter lakeshore.

Plan your visit
The Glitzerwelt sits right on the shore of Lake Hohenfelden, easy to reach by bus or car. As soon as darkness falls the gates open, and the path leads you on foot through the glowing galaxy by the lake.
